Is it Monday again? This question pops up every week, but do we still need work to live?

A 2-day weekend might not feel enough after our 5-day work marathons. Not having enough time to live as we want and having to do work that doesn’t interest us is normal for most of us.

This leads to opportunities for developing skills and building businesses. Labor skills have declined but new technology has emerged. Workers with low skills may be replaced by artificial intelligence (AI). Large organizations are increasingly adopting modern technology such as 6G or AI to run more efficiently. Small and medium-sized enterprises may not be able to keep up, due to budget constraints and unskilled personnel. Some workers will have to seek different forms of work. Future work will expand the gig economy, for doing tasks on an ad hoc basis.
